here's a post to confirm the details of the Floorball Christmas party 2008 (:

venue : Jun's function room- blossoms@woodleigh

time:5pm (cos coach need's to leave at 7!)

other details: No official gift exchange this year :( we decided that it will be too troublesome. I mean, what if I get something really cute like a soft toy and it ends up with a guy like gary or something?

dress code : No dress code, but if you can, do try to wear something christmassy! Red, green or if you want- a white christmas (:

Food: we will be ordering food on the day itself!

This is not a seniors party- it is an annual floorball party so I would really like all juniors and seniors to be there if they can make it. Technically, we wanted the juniors to organize the party this year but since you guys have been training so hard- we decided to organize it instead for all of us (:

So put on your party hat, wear your christmas clothes and I'll see you tmr at jun's house!

1. go potong pasir mrt.
2. come out.
3. turn left. (really. there is only one exit)
4. take bus, any bus. except 142.
5. drop at the second stop, not including the one that you board. you can walk also la. sometimes i just walk back. not very far around 15 minutes.
6. when you drop off from the bus, turn left.
7. walk for around 20 m.
8. turn right at woodleigh close.
9. walk for another 30m then reach already.

alternatively you can come from bishan. take bus 13.

the other buses that come to my house are 133, 853, 147 etc.

i believe that my detailed directions are sufficient to get you to my function room.

if you dont know how to go, too bad.
we will miss you.

The Floorball Christmas Party is coming!

All Details are still tentative, but here's what we've got so far

Date :28th December 2008
Venue: option 1) Jun's function room and house
2) Mer's house
3) anyone else with other suggestions?

Time: 5pm till.......?
Food: Most probably potluck
Present: Secret Santa? Everybody buys a gift worth approximately $10 to be exchanged amongst ourselves.

I would really want everybody to be there, both juniors and seniors, girls and guys (: I think it'll be great fun and the last time we could all see each other together as a whole before people start leaving for the army and going overseas to study.

Do post any suggestions or comments on the tagboard, and message me if you cannot make it! :(

This is an update on the upcoming floorball marathon. Those involved, please follow the instructions below as copy-and-pasted from the email from Mr Dick Hui. Remember to indicate your team name in your mail to him; i dont think he has any inkling who we are! LOL!



Hi Floorballers

Thank you for your participation in the floorball marathon from 31 Dec 2008 to 1Jan 2009. To help us work out the match schedule, please reply to us by e mail on thetiming which your team can commit. There will be 4 time blocks indicated below:-You can reply to our e mail - yuasaki@starhub.net.sg or to John_Sim@pa.gov.sg


a. Time Block 1 - 12pm 31 Dec 2008 to 6pm 31 Dec 2008
b. Time Block 2 - 6 pm 31 Dec 2008 to 12mn 31 Dec 2008
c. Time Block 3 - 0000 hrs 1 Jan 2009 to 6am 1 Jan 2009
d. Time Block 4 - 6am 1 Jan 2009 to 12 pm 1 Jan 2009


We need able bodied males to commit to the midnight hours i.e. Time Block 3 andwe hope you will accept this challenge.
Each match will last 15 minutes. At the end of each match, the next two teamswill take over for a fresh 15 min game and so on without stopping.

Hello! Sorry to invade this blog even though the seniors have left, but this is the cheapest and most efficient way to disseminate information, and we miss this blog mah.


Here's the tentative (tenTERtive) lines for the floorball marathonon 31st december. I tried to put us in our nationals lines, but some cat is away in Hong Kong, so the last line has to be split.

Line 2: The Super Awesome Power Power Power IP Line

It's not that I want to segregate the awesome IPs from the mainstream people, but Reethie and Huizhen are classmates, so more likely to have chemistry. Then long-necked ter (giraffe) and sueping (panda) spend so much time at Mandai Zoo together, they should also have more chemistry.

It's 3 v 3 and no goalies are required.

Our dear Flabbigail will be away to the US from the 28th Dec.

Those people whose names are in italics, please reply asap okay! So that we won't miss the registration deadline and forgo our FREE goodie bag and FREE T-shirt.



To the Juniors (you all are technically Seniors now, but in our hearts, you all will be our juniors forever! <3), do try to make it for the event. Cos its FREE and you will get a FREE goodie bag and FREE T-shirt.

I have just received an email from Tampines West CSC regarding floorball marathon on 31st dec!
Ohwells seniors, if Tampines West CSC sounds remotely unfamiliar to you, do think harder! Remember the 3v3 match at Tampines CC earlier this year where we met the tj teams as well as the junior team from RJC? Remember the emcee who pronounced our team name,"AQUA" as "A-GUA"? Remember the little malay kids shaking their butts damn hard at the playing of music?





AND
YES,YOU HAVE WRITTEN THIS DOWN IN YOUR TESTIMONIAL FOR SOME, SO RIGHT YOU (better) GET IT! :D



This year, they are organising a FLOORBALL MARATHON are inviting us to participate, once again! (:
( we missed the deadline for registration last year ): Back then, they tried to have it for 24hrs, in hope to break some world record. But it doesnt seem to work so i think they might have abandoned the target this yr. )

Tampines West Constituency Sports Club (CSC) and Tampines West PasirianFloorball Club are jointly organizing a Floorball Marathon on 31 December2008. The venue for this proposed match is the Tampines West Community Club and
we are soliciting support from peoples of all walks of life to form teams to takepart in this floorball marathon. You can send in as many teams with a minimum of 4 to 6 players.


There is
NO registration fee and teams taking part will be given a T-shirt and a
goodie bag for each player. The poster for this event and the registration
form is attached herewith for your necessary action. Please submit thecompleted registration form to Tampines West CSC by 18 December 2008.
