Group stage: NJC v YJC (Gals)
Result: 1-1 (1-0, 0-1, 0-0)

The final result seems to be more favourable to us but it certainly does not reflect how we have played against YJC - we were lucky to have escaped from a thrashing by YJC. If not for the outstanding performances by both our goalies and some last-ditch defence by our defenders, we would have lost miserably. But despite the constant pressure, we still managed to last the whole match without any significant drop in intensity. Our fitness trainings have paid off.

Man of the Match: Jasmine
As the last man in defence, she kept the opponents at bay for most part of the game almost single-handedly, with her well-positioned coverage and strong awareness, when all other defence failed. Not only was she outstanding in defence, her powerful penetrating throws for quick counter attack set-up have sometimes caused the opponent to panic too. For a goalie who have just started 4 months ago and starting the 1st game of our tour, her courage deserves our applauds.

Special mention: Sueping, Fangyee, Huijun, Cat
All of them have shown great determination and consistency in defence to keep the scoreline favourable to us. From 1v1 defence to ball/player recovery, they have exhibited the composure that is required of the game. It's a pity that, other than Sueping, they could have done more to help in the attack.
