Group stage: NJC v VJC (Guys)
Result: 0-6 (0-1, 0-2, 0-3)

The game started well for us, as we managed to keep the opponent from scoring, at least till the last minute of the 1st period. We knew what they would be doing and we executed our defence strategy well. However when the game proceed to the 2nd period, we failed to stay disciplined in keeping the defence structure tight, despite knowing what the opponents will CLEARLY do. Come 3rd period, further individual defensive errors allowed the opponent to pull the game further away from us. It's a pity that we had a few clear chances but we didn't manage to convert them to goals. Overall, it was a game in which the opponents need not fight so hard for to win. It's a comfortable game for them.

Man of the Match: Junlong
As a hard-working and disciplined forward, he covered a lot of space for the line in defence and have won the ball back numerous times, through good understanding of the defence system and well-executed tackles. His highly energised attitude has not only brought the team to life, but also kept the team (especially his line) pushing ahead for the 1st goal we are desperately seeking for. Despite the fact that his technicality might not have reached a respectable level yet, his strong fighting spirit is already sufficient to push himself and the team to scale greater heights.

Special mention: Samuel, Adrian, Jason
Samuel - Fairly consistent performance in defence and attack, but quite a normal performance. Perhaps if pushed a little further, greater results could be achieved.
Adrian - Good reading of the game. Has emerged as a stronger defender since last game. Better technicality is still desired.
Jason - Very short game but consistent performance.
