Group stage: NJC v MI (Gals) Result: 5-0 (2-0, 0-0, 3-0) It was a game of more misses than hits for us. Although we kept a clean sheet and hit 5 goals, through "The Ter Move" and "The Little Ms Egg Tart Move", we failed to convert at least 5 other clear-cut chances. Either the shots were taken directly at the goalkeeper, or went narrowly pass the goal. But despite being only 2 goals up and kept under pressure by the opponent in the 2nd period, we managed to keep our defence tight and to push on for more goals and sealing the game off. Goal scorer: Ter (4), Liying (1) Assist: Pris (1) Man of the Match: Ter Ter performed well above expectations with her keen eyes on goal. Not only has she used her speed to her advantage, she has also kept her movements and shots clean and neat. It was an effort well-worth after many months of practising. As a forward with an aim to score, she kept her chances very well and converting 4 out of 6 or 7 clear shots that she has on goal. Special mention: Pris, Cat, Chewyan, Fangyee, Jasmine Pris, Cat, Chewyan - They kept the defence very tight at the back and have provided good set-ups for the forwards to start the attack. Fangyee & Jasmine - Never failed to perform with such strong agility and alertness.
