helloo my dearest team,

im stuck at home having a fever of 39.12 degrees while you guys are out with abby and coach doing i dont know what. ive only missed trainings for two days and i have no idea whats happening already lol. life seriously sucks right now, im so damn sick, i have been living on milo for the past two days, nothing else and i still have to do my h3 art paper which is due at midnight tonight. after talking to mer and bx on the phone i have decided to write to you guys!! =)))

these two weeks have been great, or should i say the past one and a half years with you guys. i cannot imagine my jc life without floorball and this nationals, i think, is really one of the few times that i have ever wanted something so, so badly. i have had a lot of medals, (not to show of or anything), in all three colours, and i had to work for each and every one of them, but this is THE MEDAL, you know, its the one that i want with all my heart, and i believe all of you want it as badly as well.

I know all of us had to make sacrifices for this, giving up our holidays, becoming no lifers LOL, and perhaps other activities. i believe that those whom have trained the hardest should play. i heard about what happened on friday and today, and im sure coach would make the right choice. (right coach? =))

anyway, back to the point. remember the promise we made in march? i think we have fulfilled the first half of it, the part about floorball, and im truly proud of us for making it this far.



i just wish this june holidays would go on forever and ever.



there is only one week of trainings and five more games left with each other on court. Every training im counting down, i guess its only when you are about to lose something that you start to treasure it more --

no more
coach, his yellow shirt and weird looking tattoos,
mer, and crazy laughter and being such a fantastic captain,
bx and her lame jokes, and her trusted defence,
zhen and her anal attendance and trustworthiness,
cat and her ultra coolness on court,
ter, hopping around cheerily all the time,
pris and her "pris is in the house" thing, (just imagine her doing it in THAT voice)
reethie and her unusual outbursts of insanity,
jenna and her powershots and 'blurness',
abby and her bimboness,
sue ping, aiya everyone knows la, and her truly goodheartedness,
yini, and her strong demeanour,
chewyan and her hardworking-ness,
val and her one thousand allergies,

no more
guys and their rumour spreading nonsense (points finger at fred)
their fantastic shots and failed attempts to teach us to shoot as well,
their scary slap shots that defenders 'siam' when they shoot,
incessant comments about their hair which they think is oh-so-cool but we know is totally hot NOT,

no more
coach shouting at us off court,
lunch sessions, study sessions, mac sessions, after trainings,
no more training together as a team,
playing together as a team EVER AGAIN.

i am so, so afraid. afraid for it all to end. let us treasure each game and training as if it is our last, because in fact, our last game together is indeed drawing near.

even if some of us do not make it to first team, i hope that we will continue to support one another like we always have, its not worth spoiling what we had for the past one and a half years, is it?

if we truly loved our team, we will want the best for our team, even if it meant not being on court with the team we loved, but merely as a supporter on the sidelines.

anyway,
i would like to thank coach for being coach,
never losing his temper with us,
ever patient, even when we play badly on court,
for giving up his whole june, and in fact a large part of his life for us, (all the girls agree that coach has no social life =))
never falling sick,
and for just being there,
at the sidelines,
watching us play,
every training, every match,
like our private cheerleader (without the pom poms).

we are definitely ready for nationals this year,
and before it all starts,
i just want to say im very proud of both the girls and the guys teams,
and whatever the score,
whatever the end result maybe,
i am thankful for the past one and a half years, every bit of it.
i never regretted joining floorball.
you guys taught me a lot.
lessons that i will remember for life.
