Hello. My post is going to be kinda random so I’ve divided it into 4 small parts (cos my brain stopped functioning again so i cant think of alot of stuff to write for each point) :)

1. Girls, just wanna say that it’s truly amazing to see all of you not giving up, fighting back during the last 2 games. I really want to thank all of you for that (I never thanked you all after the match, but better late than never, right).

2. As what val said in her previous post, shi bai shi cheng gong zhi mu (see, my Chinese so pro). From the past few matches, learn where can you improve on, and in our next match, don’t repeat the same mistakes.

3. One very important thing, never ever ever stop believing in yourself. Just tell yourself, “No matter how many shots I’ve missed, I'm going to make the next one”.

Self-confidence as an essential quality for elite athletes to possess in order to protect against potentially debilitating thoughts and feelings experienced in competitive situations. This is because self-confidence influences the relationship between competitive anxiety intensity and symptom interpretation. In the absence of self-confidence, increases in competitive anxiety intensity were perceived as outside of the performers’ control and debilitating to performance. Under conditions of high self-confidence, increases in symptoms were reported to lead to positive perceptions of control and facilitative interpretations. To protect against debilitating interpretations of competitive anxiety, performers reported the use of cognitive confidence management strategies including mental rehearsal, thought stopping, and positive self-talk.

5. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.
-Archie Griffen, two-time Heisman winner (5ft 9)

I’ve never heard of him :/ but he must be damn good since he’s a 2-time winner and what he says is very relevant. We will show MJ/VJ/MI our desire to win.

Just go out there and do what you've got to do.

it's still anyone's game.
